First, yes I would recommend the hotel warmly to others. We stayed for 4 days in the beginning of June and had a room looking out onto the main square (a bit noisey at times but well worth the bother). The room was nicely appointed and ample in size; also, it was well maintained. There were two smallish drawbacks: 1. there's a flight of stairs between the front desk and access to the elevator; for the partially infirm this is a problem; 2. the staff was professional but a bit brisk; we have found this in the past only in hotels where the staff seemed overwhelmed by the tourist trade (too many languages, too little time) and this despite the fact that our Italian was quite adequate.
Getting to the hotel is really quite easy by car. Leaving the hotel proved to be a problem; the cars are parked at a neighboring hotel and ours was buried behind 9 (yes, 9) others. It took the carhop 20 minutes to extract ours Sunday morning.
But in conclosing let me repeat that for location and value the hotel is perfectly acceptable and we would return there.

very nice little hotel. great location right next to the main plaza and in walking distance of all the points of interest.

This is a wonderful hotel, very helpful multilingual staff and great breakfast. My expectations were more than met, we booked a standard double and found ourselves in a room with a view over Plazza Maggiore and Le Due Torre - marvellous.
