We booked the hotel last minute to spend the night in Casablanca after attending a wedding in the city. Thank God it was just for one night. Because I am not familiar with the hotel's reputation, as soon as we walked through the main lobby doors I quickly realized that the hotel was not a family place, nor is it a proper place for business travellers or tourists. There were clrealy hookers, their prospective clients, cabaret music, cigarette and alcohol smell...the hallways and room were degraded and in bad need of renovation...Everything was stinky and run-down, I felt so out of place. the locals know not to stay there, and I have learned that lesson myself. On a positive note, the rate was adequate and the staff friendly and helpful as our key got disactivated twice the same evening.
