The hotel is located in the Old Town, close to many of Istanbul's major sights and attractions. The Blue Mosque is approximately a 15 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel opened in mid-1999 and all furniture and decor is of an excellent standard. This is an ideal choice for those wishing to stay in a central traditional hotel. Good value for money. This is a traditional corner building of typical Ottoman style. It has a wooden slatted exterior, in keeping with the surrounding architecture. The large restaurant is located at the back of the lobby and is elevated from the main lobby area. A wide variety of local and international dishes are served. The medium-sized bedrooms are well decorated and maintained to an excellent standard with modern furniture. A variety of colour schemes have been used which give the rooms a very light, airy feeling. The medium-sized lobby is attractively decorated in traditional style. The small reception is to the right with a small snack bar/cafe to the left. The main restaurant is at the back of the lobby. 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 kms to the nearest airport (ataturk), Centrally located, Close to the station (sirkeci (100 metres)).

perfect location, nice staff, nice service, but the room is so small!

the location is very strategic. walking distance to all the attractive places.

but one bad experienced when i wanted to chek-in (saturdany morning 30th may), the staff at the front office said there is no queen/king room available and suggested me to go to other hotel near by. According to him the room available is small. (He wiiling to take me to one of the hotel ). He said if i go tho the the other hotel for that day, he will give me a bigger room for the next three nights. but i refused and accepted the small room (NO. 211). I was suprised because he didn't offer the bigger room for the next three nights.

second bad experienced, was the istanbul map he sold to me. it was too expensive 10 lira! the normal price is just 5 Lira.

other staffs are very helpful and friendly!
