La Spezia Hotel

The hotel is clean, very modern, and the quarters are tight because you are not expected to be in your room for anything other than sleeping. It is good value for the money, staff friendly, and the breakfast was generous.

We were completely unfamiliar with the city but knew we were not near anything we wanted to see while touring, but hotel is five minute walk from the subway, and we were delighted for the directions from desk clerk to the canal district for dinner - just a ten minute hike away.

It is a VERY expensive cab ride to central train station if you will be leaving Milan by train. Would recommend accessing public transport where possible. In retrospect, we should have taken the subway to the train station.

The hotel is new and very clean. It is relatively well located , a 15m walk from Universita Bocconi and a 5-10 m walk from the metro. The service was attentive, polite and efficient.
The breakfast is normal, continental style. The only constraint is not having a restaurant. Overall, would definitely recommend it for its price/quality ratio, especially if booked online for a special rate.

Arrived in a hot and sticky Milan and could not have been more pleased when we entered the Hotel Lobby. This Hotel was real value for money, clean, modern, friendly staff and in an area of Milan which is ideal for Tourists. We would certainly recommend this Hotel and would use your services again. Thank you

Most 4 star hotels I booked were 3 stars at best. This one was clean, modern, and had a strong high tech feel to it. I particularly liked the way the hall way lights go on when you exit your room. The staff were friendly and spoke English. It's also a two block walk to the subway that goes straight into downtown Milan.
