Located on East 34th Street, in Manhattan's fashionable East Side, this hotel puts you in the center of the city. This is a high-rise, very modern building. Accommodation consists of renovated modern studios, junior, one and two bedroom suites, many with magnificent East River views and full kitchens. They are medium in size and in good condition, with custom-designed Affinia Bed and Pillow Menu (featuring your choice of three signature pillows), executive workspace and ergonomic chair, two cordless phones with voicemail, high-speed Internet access, dataport for fax, computer and modem hook-up with desk level access and in-room safes. Luxurious living space with dining area and separate bedroom; fully appointed kitchen. Can accommodate up to four people (450, 650 sq. ft. ). Each guest is responsible for incurred incidental charges during their stay. Upon arrival, guests will be required to provide a valid credit card or nightly cash deposit to secure any incidental charges. Enjoy exquisite appetizers and wonderfully prepared entrees at the hotel's restaurant, which provides a romantic midtown escape. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lobby is traditional in style and features marble walls, flooring and pillars and famous art work. 13 kms to the airport (la guardia), 27 kms to the airport (jfk).

I would recommend this hotel to others definitely.

Good points:
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very large and spacious.
Our view of the Chrysler building from the hotel was just incredible.
The bed was enormous and very comfortable.
Overall it was a pretty nice room.
Near the main attractions without being too in the thick of it.

Bad points:
Our "neighbours" were smokers and their cigarette smoke seeped through the adjoining door and it stank our room out. YUCK. I would've rated it 5 stars had this not been the case.
Some fixtures looking a little tired (particulary the bathroom)
Cool that would had a kitchen but it wasn't the nicest to be honest.
