Reviews of Jurys Inn Newcastle Newcastle

Yes, I would recommend this hotel to others. It is in the centre of Newcastle close to the station and therefore easy to get around. The hotel is quite spacious. Rooms are okay but we booked a treble room, and on arrival found a double and a single bed. This was eventualy changed to three beds. The staff there told us they do not have triple rooms.
Though behind the reception desk it said "Investors in People" I did not find that the staff were that customer service focused. Lack of eye contact and some basic manners whilst we were waiting to be attended to.
However, I did find the restaurant staff friendly, and breakfast was good.

All in all good value for money and a good time was had

This is a great looking and ideally positioned hotel, but some things really did disappoint me especially considering the price. First of all was the food in the bar. I ordered a steak sandwich, not a car tyer in between two lumps of bread! Then the bed had a dirty mattress protector on it which i discovered when a accidently pulled up the sheet. But what pissed me off the most was a buzzing noise coming from the fire escape stairwell that kept me up for most of the night! because i was only staying the one night i didnt bother complaining because the staff were all actually quite nice so i seen no point.
