The best part was the price and the location. I also appreciated the restaurant/bar downstairs with an excellent staff.

The heat was a bit loud and the water pressure a bit weak, but otherwise everything was up to par.

We came into town overnight for a concert so we weren't in search of luxury. The room smelled very clean but I still question the cleanliness. We found a nice sized glob of hair from the previous occupants still in our shower. The bed was comfortable enough. We were very happy it was within walking distance of the Mutter Museum. The staff was very friendly.

Okay, the hotel itself is shabby. It's outdated and dark inside. But the staff were nice and helpful, the room was clean and quiet, and the location was great. Right next to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and other museums, and close to Ben Franklin Parkway, which is a great access road to other parts of the city. It's also just a block or two from a Whole Foods, which means healthy meals close by. We needed a budget hotel right in the city, and this fit the bill.
