Best Western Hacienda Hotel

We have visited Old Town San Diego many times. This hotel was a very good value for the money. Very close but off the main street, this hotel was very conveniently located to all of Old Town San Diego. The rooms were modest but very clean, neat and very confortable. We would reccommend highly for the medium ranged budgeted traveler and plan to stay at this hotel on future trips.

The hacienda hotel is a very nice establishment for someone who wants to just get away for a weekend. The staff were great, very quaint architecture and design, and a great location.

I think the only concern was being next to the elevator entrance and hearing the ruckus as people waited. No biggie though.

I work for a hotel in Las Vegas and believe me, anything away from the corporate eliteness is always a good thing. The Hacienda Hotel was the perfect place on a very short notice trip as well. I plan on booking again at the Hacienda hotel.

GOOD ACCESS TO OLD TOWN AND ALL EATERIES. REQUEST ROOMS AT BUILDING 4, 6, 8 WITH VIEW. STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO CLIMB STAIRS. THERE IS ELEVATORS BUT YOU DO HAVE TO WALK TO GET TO THE ELEVATORS AT EACH BUILDING. THEY DO CHARGE RESORT FEE OF $5 FOR 2 BOTTLES OF WATER, NEWSPAPER IN THE MORNING, AND TURNING DOWN YOUR BED. THE FITNESS CENTER IS A JOKE EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A SWIMMING POOL. THE BUILDINGS ARE OLD AND SO ARE THE INTERIORS. THE ROOMS I STAYED IN HAD FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE WHICH WAS A PLUS.

Property grounds are very clean and well maintained. The
rooms were also very clean and airy. The staff was friendly and willing to help. Location is excellent for
Old Town and the trolley. Will not only recommend, but
will also use at next trip to San Diego.
