Malardrottningen Yacht

One of the world's first luxury super yacht's formerly owned by the Barbara Hutton the world's richest woman, the Malardrottningen Yacht is located in the heart of Stockholm on the waters of Lake Malaren. Transport links to this 'hotel-boat' are excellent whether in the form of public or private transport. The hotels is moored on the banks of the old town, just a two minute walk from Gamla Stan station and close to all the restaurants and bars of the old town.
A great hotel with an interesting theme being that it is a yacht. The accommodation has all of the comforts one would find in a traditional hotel and this fun and well maintained property oozes atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the city and the cuisine is second to none. Once again, the majority of rooms feature bunk beds.
Permanently moored in Stockholm this elegant yacht the size of some passenger ships is white with designed typical of yachts built in the 1920's.
The "sailor's-cabin" rooms are small to medium in size with bunk beds, typical of bedding on a boat. Bathrooms are generally small but in good condition and have a shower rather than a bath.
The lobby is small in size and just like a reception on any boat. It is furnished with dark wood and brass fixings.
The restaurant on the first deck is extremely pleasant with the most fantastic atmosphere. It serves a variety of International and Swedish cuisine. Traditional in style, this restaurant has a very good reputation.
