Phoenicia Malta

Valletta, the capital city of Malta, is built on the northern half of the Sciberras peninsula, which separates the Grand Harbour from Marsamxetto Harbour. Le Meridien Phoenicia is in close proximity with number of tourist attractions, including St John's Cathedral, Grand Master's Palace, the War Museum, Manoel Theatre and Grand Harbour. The hotel has a central position, just outside the city walls of Valletta, overlooking the island's historic Grand Harbour to the east and Marsamxetto Harbour to the west.

Guests can stroll through seven acres of terraced gardens or work out in the fitness room, before unwinding in the outdoor hot tub. There is a mini-golf course for putting practice or they can cool off in the pool. Other practical amenities include a hair salon, jewellery store, currency exchange, library, all-hours room service and valet parking.

This five-floor hotel features 136 Mediterranean-styled guestrooms, all of which feature cable television, Internet access and minibars. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower over bath and most have a bidet.

Due to scheduled maintenance-works the swimming pool will be closed from the 4th of January until the 17th of February 2008. However the pool deck will be available for sun bathing during this period.***
